Destined to die ill give it one last fight so I may unify
A suicide mission lies at the ocean floor
A place Where humans and fish are floating in their gore
My spear gun is cocked and loaded
Let's hope this works this time
My opponent is the giant squid
When I get the chance ill blast off your lid
Rapidly descending and light fades away
The deeper I go color becomes the same
But my goal of slaying the squid will remain
Swimming toward the sea monsters cave
Tentacles appear from this gaping hole
Staring into the of eyes my executor
Raise my gun to the heart and shoot
Piercing the heart of the squid but he mocks and
Rips the pole out
I am the vampire squid
And I'm flattered that you've tried to kill me
By piercing my heart with your vestigial weapons
Your efforts are futile
You must accept this fate
Half blind in an aquatic bind, the first strike saps me
Listen for the pop, that's just your spleen
Blood pours out of your ears and nose
Fill up your mask to the brim
Clouds the water, it's feeding time
Creatures of the sea
I call upon your masses
20,000 pounds of pressure
Your organs feel the squees
Disoriented, my body has been torn
What chance is left for me after my near fatal attempt?

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance

Oh, this album annihilates. My inner Gorguts fan was floored at Mike's wailing vocals, the warping guitar trickery, and the heavy violence of the dissonant drums. But let's not forget the bass! It hides, slithering about during the brief downtime sections, and appears in full force, creating a layer of hollowness in contrast to the sharp guitars. What an excellent album! Frankly, I loved Malignant Reality, but I adore the power and prowess of this album. A new disso-death standard has been set! barlface

Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
